We all overate from Thanksgiving and most of us suffered a bit from indigestion. However, for people who experiences Acid Reflux, GERD, or Heartburn on a regular basis, I advised a few home remedies to improve the symptoms. 1. Drink a tbs of Organic Apple Cider vinegar mixed in water every day. 2. Eat a ripened banana every day 3. Fresh ginger tea before meals 4. Chamomile tea. 5. Eat a tsp of mustard when you feel it coming on. 6. When it is really bad, drink a tsp of Baking Soda mixed in water. The idea is to reduce or neutralize the stomach acid. Acupuncture successfully improved LES pressure and function, thereby increasing resistance to acid reflux. The LES is a valve preventing the backflow of gastric acid into the esophagus.
